Community Mental Health Nurse position at Band 5 in Inverclyde Adult Community Mental Health Team within which The Community Response Service is integrated.

This is an integrated and comprehensive multi-disciplinary Mental Health Team providing care to individuals with complex mental health needs and their families or carers within the Inverclyde area. Within this Team, sits the Community Response Service which is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service providing urgent response and assessment of clients with mental health needs. You may be required to provide support to/ be rotated into this service at points in the future, under the supervision of Band 6 staff.
You will carry responsibility for managing your own caseload and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary care team. You will do so under the supervision of a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse Specialist.
You will be responsible for the organisation and facilitation of Depot/Clozapine/Lithium treatment clinics and Physical Health and Wellbeing clinics.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of your own high clinical and professional standards of practice and carry delegated responsibility for the supervision of Support Staff.

Preferred:
- Demonstrable evidence of commitment to working with individuals with complex mental health needs, in particular, presentations of psychoses and substance co-morbidity i.e. working knowledge of current good practice and effective models of care applicable.
