Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people's and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. Main duties of the job

West Norfolk CRHT provides 24/7 assessments and interventions as an alternative to hospital admission. In this role you will learn how to carry out assessments, risk management, care planning, and co-ordination of care delivery within a well-resourced team, supported with regular supervision and providing opportunities to work in partnership with health and social care, linking into the wider multi-disciplinary service.

Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Appropriate Sections of the Mental Health Act (1983)
- NMC Guidelines on record keeping and administration of medication and other NMC guidelines
- General principles of Health & Safety at Work Act
Desirable criteria
- Able to interpret NMC guidelines to personal liability.
- A clear understanding of mental health presentations.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice
- Experience in working in a team delivering person centred treatment packages
- Experience of personal development through appraisal.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
