A bit about the role.

London’s most sustainable and affordable e-Bike is looking for a friendly, hardworking, all-round great content and Social Media Manager to help grow and oversee our ever growing community of followers and riders. This is a super exciting opportunity to join a disruptive startup through an exciting period of growth and to build a community around the brand.

The chosen candidate will work directly with the senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive content and social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement, executing creative campaigns to drive awareness and rider adoption.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Build, create and execute a social media and content plan that will increase our brand awareness, engagement rates, positive sentiment and overall ridership.

2. Create boundary-pushing, attention grabbing social content across all channels. You’ll create your own Reels, Lives, TikTok and Shorts.

3. Collaborate with our in-house design team to bring your ideas to life.

4. Deliver a fully packed day-to-day calendar of activity across all central social media platforms and content across blog/editorial, user generated content, and email.

5. Track the performance of activity to be able to build a picture of how our organic channels support business and brand objectives, making improvements where necessary

6. Lead on community management to swiftly connect and engage with our followers. You’ll be the go-to for social, advising the team and wider business on best practice.

Who you are:

  • You’re a social media expert with 4+ years’ experience in a similar role working with Direct to Consumer brands; ideally in a startup environment.
  • You’re passionate about creating content and are active on social media yourself
  • You’re resourceful and can make world-class content using just your phone camera
  • You’re a great communicator, have a passion for writing and are confident with social captions and responding to our community directly
  • You’re naturally curious and want to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to the table
  • You want to foster relationships with customers by leading creative campaigns and physical activations and events
  • You love the HumanForest brand and cycling!
