The main function of this role is to coordinate and deliver tree planting as part of our work with the North East Community Forest (NECF). It will involve working on events across Newcastle, North Tyneside and South Tyneside in collaboration with our colleagues at Durham Wildlife Trust, local councils and staff from NECF.
This role will include community engagement with multiple stakeholders such as councillors, community groups, members of the public and volunteers, and requires a person dedicated to helping others to connect with nature on their doorstep.
This role is offered at 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2024. The salary is grade C, starting at £24,336 per annum (pro rata).
