An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer care skills to join our Into Work Advice Service Team. The successful applicant will help provide a professional face to face service to give mentoring support to participants living in Cardiff, to provide practical help in job seeking skills, job applications and assisting clients to produce relevant, appropriate and professional CV’s to assist clients to get ‘back to work’.
About the job
This post will work on our Cardiff Cares Academy. The Care Academy provides support to individuals actively seeking employment within the care sector. We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by customers seeking sustained employment; and possess the ability to help them gain employment.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have experience of working in a job seeking related environment.
You will have experience of working with customers on a face to face basis and experience of providing mentoring support in an employment setting. You will have good communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.
You will assist participants move closer to employment opportunities and have access to a barriers fund to access training.
You will work well in a team, have excellent communication skills and have a flexible approach.
