Salary: £23,246 per annum

Based in Glasgow / Hybrid

Are you a talented communicator who can tell a compelling story about sport in Scotland?

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative and dynamic team player ready to apply their skills to tell the stories from grass roots sport across Scotland to high performance sport on the world stage.

As the Communications Officer, you will coordinate the planning, delivery, and review of projects to raise the profile of sport in Scotland. You will be working on multiple projects at any one time and your digital and social media passion and skills will help you contribute across our communications channels.

Providing support to the Communications team on a range of activities, you will plan and produce quality content for sportscotland’s digital channels, including creating and updating website content, creating social media content, producing regular e:newsletters and preparing and delivering presentations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the power of social media, can demonstrate understanding and experience of developing content on a range of social media channels, has an aptitude for writing and enthusiasm for getting the right message to the right audience and is happy rolling their sleeves up as part of the events team.
