Are you ready to elevate your communications career? Join Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) as a Communications Officer and make an impact by reaching diverse audiences in a fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for a versatile communications professional, you’ll be vital in promoting various initiatives, including community safety projects, recruitment campaigns, and essential public safety messages. Your work will span media releases, in-person events, and digital platforms. You’ll lead our social media presence, be our trusted voice and employing a positive and friendly tone, showcasing our work across multiple digital channels. You’ll also evaluate our reach to ensure we’re engaging with the right audiences.
In addition to digital media, you’ll work with traditional media on print campaigns and external media engagements, helping us share our story. Your expertise will be invaluable as you handle media enquiries about incidents and other sector issues, ensuring our message is clear and accurate.
