English National Opera offer something different – world-class, accessible opera, available to everyone. Central to promoting this message is our brilliant Marketing and Communications Department, who are responsible for delivering creative PR campaigns to reach the widest possible audience. We are looking for a Communications Officer to join the team.

From free Opera tickets and to the chance to work in London’s iconic Coliseum, being part of our collaborative and dynamic in-house press office is an exciting, varied role where no two days are the same. As Communications Officer your role will involve running imaginative PR campaigns, building relationships with journalists to secure a wide range of coverage, and coordinating promotional activity across the organisation. It’s a pivotal role at the heart of the team that creates a huge buzz around ENO opening nights and unique events you won’t find anywhere else: English National Opera does Eurovision

If you have a background in PR and are looking for an opportunity to get stuck in and grow your skills in a fast paced, creative environment, we would love to hear from you.

Please note, we cannot except CVs sent via Indeed. We can only accept our application forms sent to the email address provided, by the closing date.

Further details on the role can be found in the Recruitment Pack.

Please send your completed application to us, no later than the closing date of 12:00 noon, Tuesday 16th May 2023.

Please also submit our Equality and Diversity Monitoring Form

This appointment will be made on merit, but we believe that diversity strengthens and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at ENO to make the arts and cultural sector a more diverse and equal place.

As ethnically diverse and disabled people are currently under-represented at ENO, we particularly encourage and welcome applications from under-represented people.
