Introduction: We’re WorldFirst, an international payments business helping move money around the world. We are looking for a Communications Manager, Europe, to lead all our communications efforts across our European markets, with a focus on the UK, France and Italy. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing a full spectrum of communications strategies to build brand awareness, manage and protect our company's public image, support business objectives and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders. This role calls for a passion for the tech industry, communications, as well as familiarity with the business, geopolitical and media landscapes in which the company operates. You will be working cross-functionally with various regional and local stakeholders from PR, marketing, business development, government relations and beyond. As such, developing an in-depth understanding of Ant International’s dynamic business is crucial, so that you can translate this understanding into creative and engaging strategies to communicate the brand story to our external audiences. You will have autonomy and sufficient resources to drive high-impact work. What you’ll do: Protect and promote overall company image through full spectrum communications strategies, including creative storytelling, integrated communications, executive positioning and thought leadership, and crisis management Develop, implement and manage communications programmes that are in line with Ant International’s business objectives, particularly for Alipay+ and WorldFirst Act as an insight-driven storyteller collaborating with internal and external teams, such as partners, to engage and inspire our stakeholders Identify and influence thought leadership opportunities, including targeted interviews and industry events, aligned to our strategic communications approach and priorities Build and maintain strong working relationships with key media and industry influencers in our key European markets Monitor and manage the company's reputation in Europe, proactively identifying potential issues or risks and developing strategies to mitigate them Monitor industry and peer trends to assess needs/gaps, potential areas of differentiation and future direction Be a source of knowledge and a trusted advisor to your team and colleagues What we’re looking for: Passionate about communications: Experience in building omnichannel communications strategies and plans, and always committed to learning and pushing the boundaries in communications. You think outside the box and is unafraid to bring innovative ideas that drive business objectives. Thrive in dynamic environments: You’ll be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and will need to be comfortable with constant changes and ambiguity. You’re willing to contribute regardless of the task. Hands-on and motivated by challenging work, with an entrepreneurial and “all hands on deck” mindset. Driven to make a difference: You’re independent and constantly on the lookout for opportunities to build our brand awareness, take responsibility of the work, ability to multi-task, and a drive to make an impact within our business and across our industry. Relationship builder: Ability to cope well and gain trust with internal stakeholders, proven track record of working in a dynamic and large organization is preferred, and ability to build strong relationships and drive successful campaigns with partners. Even with different perspectives, you’re able to find common ground to achieve shared objectives. Bonus requirements: 5-7 years experience comprising PR, media relations, crisis/issues management, social media, integrated communications; Experience in a communications agency or startup; Strong interest in tech sector. #LI-Hybrid
