About the role
Are you ambitious and looking for your first step in communications? Have you been on the hunt for a break into the TV and entertainment industry? Banijay is looking for a Communications Intern to join its global team.

A collection of creative entrepreneurs, the group represents some of the biggest global brands in the world including Big Brother, Survivor, Peaky Blinders, MasterChef, Mr Bean, Hunted, Black Mirror and Deal or No Deal. This fast paced and innovative company is built on creative freedom, entrepreneurialism, and commercial acumen.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Group Communication and the Group Communication Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the global PR team in writing press collateral, brainstorming feature ideas, organising events, and managing the group’s social media channels. The ideal candidate will be organised, confident, have impeccable writing skills and be very familiar with the world’s leading social media channels. You will work closely with the global communications team in delivering on the group’s internal and external communications strategy, so a team-player with a can-do attitude is key.
Responsibilities:

Act as a key liaison point for the group’s global companies and be proactive in sourcing news and information across the business

Work with the communications team to draft press releases, PR collateral, reports and strategies

Manage and regularly update press media lists and databases

Curate copy and assets for the group’s social media channels

Monitor and collate press coverage and social media for news relating to Banijay and its brands

Maintain and update Banijay’s website

Support the team in organising and delivering events

Assist with the running of Banijay’s affinity groups (Banijay Elle, Banijay Embrace, Banijay Pride and Banijay Green)

Provide administrative support to the Global Head of Communication

Provide additional support to the communications team when required
Knowledge & Experience:

Hours
9:30am – 6pm
