About us
Dyson is a global technology company. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re determined to be first and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge.
Our scale and rapid growth make Dyson rich in new opportunities. We value new ideas and diverse perspectives, so our people are trusted with real work and responsibility from the outset. In Communications, you’ll be part of a global team of like-minded people that support and learn from each other as we tell our stories to the world.
At Dyson we do things differently. We look for the brightest new graduates with the right attitude to thrive in our unique culture. We offer real jobs with real salaries and real prospects. You will have autonomy and freedom to excel and have real impact. You will be pushed forward to become our future Communications leaders. This is why we need self-starters, people who are motivated and drive themselves forward.
About the role
In the last 5 years, nearly 400 graduates joined the company. They have all received big responsibilities from day one, and they had real positive impact. Communications Graduates will join the fast-paced, creative world of Global Communications, spanning Corporate Communications, Product Communications and Internal Communications. Ideal for candidates looking for a varied role, the Communications team works across all external and internal Dyson communications, incorporating press activity, influencer engagement, content creation and social media, events and partnerships, leadership communications, crisis and reputation management.
As a Communications Graduate, you will be open to working across a variety of Communications disciplines from Product and People to Corporate and Reputation. The role supports Communications Managers in delivery of the annual Communications calendar, telling compelling stories from Dyson’s varied disciplines to audiences around the world – from our technology and people, to the James Dyson Award, Dyson Farming and sustainability, and philanthropic activities. The role is responsible for driving the development and delivery of strategic campaigns and supporting the business to solidify Dyson’s position and reputation as a global technology company, executed by Communications Teams in 35+ markets.

Our graduate programme is designed to help you drive your career at Dyson with a two-year journey to help you grow both personally and professionally. We’ll help you to improve your knowledge and support your future Communications career progression with workshops to give you baseline soft skills in addition to technical training. Our hands-on, experiential journey provides a framework so you can reach your full potential with leadership talks, lunch-and-learns and more.
Please note
The start date is September 2023.
