PepsiCo UK & Ireland is looking for a Communications Executive to work as part of its busy Corporate Affairs team. Working with an exciting portfolio of food and drink brands including Walkers, Doritos, Quaker and Pepsi MAX, the communications executive will be responsible for brand and corporate story telling across internal and external owned channels.
Responsibilities:
Their primary responsibility will be to plan and create inspiring content for internal and external communications channels – from the weekly employee newsletter and intranet to the day-to-day management of the corporate website, pepsico.co.uk. • Create engaging content – infographics, podcasts, videos etc - to tell our stories which can be used across channels – working with the support of creative agencies.
  • Manage pepsico.co.uk– evolving its look and feel, keeping it up to date and managing the news feed, as well as publishing content to our employee intranet site, mypepsico.com.
  • Measure impact – develop reports and actionable insights to continuously improve content and channels.
  • Support internal events - manage the internal events calendar and coordinate with event owners (IT, Facilities and third parties) to ensure a successful event.

Qualifications:

The candidate:

  • Excellent story writing skills with a passion for communications and storytelling.
  • An organized, effective multi-tasker with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work, network, influence and communicate effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Energy, commitment and a sense of humour and perspective when working under pressure.

Essential:

  • Corporate communications experience, ideally in a large fast-paced environment – in-house and agency experience considered.
  • Evidence of outstanding writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about developing a career in corporate affairs.
  • Experience producing corporate communications materials and digital content, including basic graphic design expertise.
  • Technically savvy with good understanding of communicating in digital media channels.
  • A keen interest in the news agenda and the food and drink industry.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.

Desirable:
