An opportunity has arisen for a Change and Communications Lead to join our team for a fixed-term 12-month contract. As the Change and Communications Lead, you will work on the implementation of large-scale change in order to ensure that optimum benefits are delivered in line with JLR’s business objectives. Global Customer Care have recently launched a programme which focuses on a series of workstreams which will transform the future for client service retailer experiences.


Communication is at the forefront of our transformation. As the Change and Communications Lead, you will work on the implementation and global delivery of Customer Care’s communication strategy alongside leading on the day-to-day delivery of communications to internal and external audiences and, providing support, analysis and advice on strategy workstreams.

WHAT TO EXPECT


This role is responsible for providing support on our transformation programme using change management practices and tools to ensure our function plays a successful role in the wider business transformation. It is responsible for delivering workstreams in line with the Customer Care Communications strategy, whilst also ensuring successful delivery of our day-to-day communications to internal and external audiences.


  • Providing support on the implementation and delivery of the Customer Care communications strategy workstreams to internal colleagues and retailers, using change management practices and tools where applicable to ensure effective delivery
  • Support cross-functional forums to help drive engagement and improvements with internal and external communications. Understanding the best methods to deliver operational and/or transformational messages to these key audiences through effective change management techniques
  • Delivering regular impact analysis insight, identifying trends and risk mitigation techniques to ensure successful and sustainable change. Maintaining an action plan to ensure as a team we are continuously improving through a test, learn, adapt approach.
  • The management and upkeep of the Customer Care communications calendar, working with stakeholders across the function and wider Commercial teams to identify the key messages to internal and external audiences (operational and transformational). Supporting the team in the delivery of these messages to our relevant audiences.
  • The application of creative thinking to ensure key messages to internal and external audiences are delivered via the most effective and engaging method (i.e. video, written, interactive etc) and subsequently working with the relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and timely delivery for both operational and transformational content.
  • Working with stakeholders to build project plans and present updates in status meetings whilst identifying any risks or blockers to ensure minimum impact to overall delivery.
  • Lead on the change management of the large transformation programme for GCC. Support the identification and resolution of resistance using change management tools and techniques
  • Maintain lessons learnt from change interventions and share with the team, relevant stakeholders and other change practitioners across the business where necessary


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


Essential:


  • Experience of delivering a major change programme or project
  • Experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools and how to apply these in practice
  • Operational experience using project management methodologies, approaches, tools and techniques
  • Experience of process mapping/process improvement
  • Relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Influencing and stakeholder communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to apply critical analysis to communication copy
  • Competent in managing datasets, analysing trends and summarising key messages and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability
  • Attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy across all tasks


Desirable:


  • Knowledge of a Retailer landscape
  • Understanding of managing people effectively through change and the change process
  • Understanding of behavioural science principles and how to use these effectively through change and communication delivery
  • Experience of championing change and communications to a global audience
  • Understanding of organisational issues and challenges
