Duties and responsibilities To provide high quality administrative support, acting as a key point of contact for all communications enquiries, handling or directing them appropriately. To support the whole team in generating engaging content and news items for our various communications channels, including our intranet, staff bulletin, social media pages and public website. This could involve drafting and editing copy, proof-reading, or attending events/meetings to take photos and videos. To support teams/services across the organisation to create digital and printed leaflets, posters and other staff/patient information materials, ensuring they comply with our new Trust brand and style guidelines. To update and amend information on the Trusts website and staff intranet. To keep the teams planning grid and social media content calendar up to date, ensuring key announcements, awareness days and events are included. To support the whole team to plan, organise and run internal and external events such as our annual summer party. To print and distribute information materials, i.e., leaflets and posters, across the Trust as required by the team. To work on own initiative on a day-to-day basis, autonomously, escalating any issues that may arise to the most appropriate person in the team. Other Duties To handle, and be sensitive to the use of, confidential information. To maintain appropriate and cordial relationships with patients, carers and other stakeholders. To be able to work in a team under pressure of timed deadlines. To work independently with the ability to juggle numerous tasks. To produce written work to a high standard. Any other activities as requested by your line manager. Training and Development To undertake mandatory and statutory training as required by Trust policy. To contribute and commit to undertaking an annual Development Review/appraisal. To undertake personal development as identified in the Personal Development Plan (PDP).
