Job description
As a Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting the mission, values, and activities of our clients to the public. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies and initiatives that effectively convey the desired message to various audiences.
As a key member of the communications team, you will have the chance to showcase your creativity, writing skills, and strategic thinking abilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and plans
- Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials
- Create and manage social media content, including posts, graphics, and videos
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages
- Assist with the coordination of events, including media briefings, press conferences, and community outreach events
- Assist with media relations, including pitching stories and responding to inquiries
- Help to ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels
- Collaborate with other departments to support communication needs
- Manage communication databases and mailing lists
- Provide administrative support to the communications team, such as scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars

Salary: £21,845.00-£23,673.00 per year
