Full Time Maidstone, England 33706 - 40588 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

This is your chance to join an innovative, high-performing NHS communications team and play your part in improving the health of our communities.

This is a key role in our busy team, working on all aspects of internal and external communications through a range of print and digital channels. You will work with the head of communications, other communications officers, in-house designers, the head of campaigns and web and digital media officer, as well as our clinical teams, to provide professional communications to our colleagues, patients, public and stakeholders; promoting and supporting more than 70 amazing NHS services across Kent, Medway, East Sussex and London.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, hit the ground running, have a can-do attitude, be highly creative and able to transform often complex content into something easy to understand.

As well as supporting and driving key campaigns internally and externally, you must be able to measure and demonstrate outcomes for your actions. With excellent writing skills, we’d expect you to be able to turn your hand to writing real-life articles for our flagship Community Health magazine and gripping copy for our weekly e-bulletin for staff, plus be able to manage media enquiries.

You must have experience of working with the media. You will also be confident in managing social media channels, which we use as a central part of our internal and external communications. You will be expected to travel across the areas that we serve as part of this role.
