italk helps over 18,000 people a year as the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service for Hampshire, excluding Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. It is a partnership between Solent Mind and Southern Health NHS Trust, offering support for individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues.
italk is one of the largest services within Solent Mind. It requires ongoing communications and marketing support to enable them to reach and help as many people as possible. As a new dedicated role, the italk communications and marketing officer will enable the continued growth of italk by undertaking targeted marketing and communications to increase referrals to the service and brand awareness. This role will work alongside colleagues from Solent Mind to ensure all available channels are used effectively and strategically to promote italk and its available services to the right audiences.
This role is within Solent Mind’s fundraising and external engagement team, working alongside other marketing and communications professionals, with a dotted line to Southern Health NHS Trust. It is an exciting and dynamic place to work with opportunities to contribute to wider projects and develop your skills. Solent Mind and the fundraising and external engagement team have experienced rapid growth over the last few years, and this role will play an important part in supporting the ongoing development of services to support even more people in the community.
