WHAT TO EXPECT
The role of the Communications team is to create a marketing and comms plan for Jaguar as part of the overall brand plan.
This role will work on tasks relating to the delivery of Communications and Marketing strategy and planning. It will involve all elements of the marketing communications mix including Brand communications, positioning, content marketing, PR, social media, and events.
This role also affords the exciting opportunity to support Jaguar’s brand transformation objective by helping to cascade and embed Jaguar’s new brand model, strategy and identity internally. This in turn will enable different functions to deliver against Jaguar’s new vision and positioning. This aspect of the role will give you exposure to many functions through the business, and the opportunity to learn about brand strategy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Head of Communications with the following tasks in the short term:
- Define Communications (Owned Earned Paid) strategy for brand re-launch & develop annual brand plans
- Deliver brand health & customer leads targets through delivery of OEP strategy
- Manage and optimise FMI budget across channels to deliver targets
- Brief Brand Plans across all channels to delivery teams and manage these relationships
Working with the wider business to deliver the Jaguar Brand Plan:
- Delivery of comms creative and identity (w/ Design, Brand Strategy & Commercial)
- Delivery of performance marketing funnel metrics (w/ Commercial)
- Delivery of targets across social, media, PR experiential channels (w/ Commercial)
- Brand embedding & training (w/ Brand Strategy)
- FMI governance (w/ Brand Strategy)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Technical expertise and experience in marketing and communications- Experience of communications programmes and delivery functions and team in large complex companies
- Excellent working knowledge of the full media landscape and strong experience in digital planning
- Experience of Digital, social media and marketing analytics skills, data insights and ability to decipher trends
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
