Temporary Comms & Marketing Assistant - Marketing Reference no: WECA 5223276 Pay rate up to £15.00 per hour PAYE depending on experience Hybrid working arrangements- Office is Bristol Based Communications & Marketing Assistant to provide administrative support to the Corporate Communications & Marketing Team. This varied role will provide support across all functions of the team (including internal and external communications, digital, and marketing), and is an exciting opportunity to gain experience of working for an in-house communications team within regional government Key responsibilities:
- Monitor the team’s shared inbox and redirect queries as appropriate
- Write and collate copy for newsletters, social media and internal communications channels
- Assist the team in maintaining our digital platforms, including intranet and website
- Maintain and update key team resources, including image libraries and contact lists
- Event planning administration – experience of using Eventbrite and Zoom useful
- Strong knowledge of and confidence in using social media and other marketing platforms
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences
- Excellent IT skills, including ability to use Microsoft tools such as Outlook and SharePoint
