Our client is looking for a Commis Chef for an immediate startTheir primary duties include preparing food before meals, setting up and stocking kitchen stations and plating cooked foods.Role consists of:Setting up the kitchenPreparing a particular kitchen station by bringing all food containers to that point in the lineCooking a specific portion of each plated mealCleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soapWrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shiftPlating food creatively and maximising customer enjoymentReceiving ingredients and supplies and moving them into stock.Washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing fruits, vegetables, fish, and meat.Removing outdated and spoiled ingredients from freezers, refrigerators, and cold rooms.Following the Chef De Parties' instructions and preparing seasonings, salads, and sauces when requested.Reacting to spillages and breakages, sweeping and mopping floors.Assisting with presenting and plating meals during busy periods.Required:Level 2 Food Safety certificate.Enhanced DBSA NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery.Chef experience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £15.00 per hourBenefits:Company pensionSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
