Job description
For this trainee role, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is capable and willing to learn all our shipping and export requirements. Previous experience is not necessary because we will provide on the job training, together with the opportunity to attain relevant shipping and export qualifications.
The shipping and export team provide an essential service to our business and this is a great opportunity for someone to join this busy team and learn from the ground up.
The opportunity
In this role you will support all Shipping and Export activities, which includes meeting customer and commercial requirements for shipping sales orders on time and considering export controls and licensing, tax exemptions, letters of credit and bank guarantees. You will liaise with freight carriers, providing all relevant instructions and documentation, as well as arranging inbound shipments in accordance with Customs procedures. You will also process and ship any items required for the repair, servicing and maintenance of our products. Maintaining accurate records, acknowledging orders and invoicing also form part of this role.
About You
To be successful in this position you do not need to have prior experience in a similar role, however we are looking for an individual that is motivated to learn, organised and pays attention to detail. Knowledge of MS Office would be an advantage.
