- Be our key field contact person, able to help build relevance to our national plans and feedback on competitors, trends and opportunities (including Luxury occasion)
- Prospect and build a strong network of loyal accounts for Brugal 1888 in London and key cities
- Improve customer relationships by adopting a strategic approach: clearly demonstrate the ability to see all the business development opportunities and analyse potential outcomes for each
- Create customer joint business plans to deliver the customer and EUK objectives with the account
- Establish ambitious targets for self and others as well as customers
- Manage their own A&P channel budget and deploy in agreement with Marketing and Brugal lead
- Recruit new consumers to the brand, thanks to trade activities (samples, trade & consumer fairs, education, tasting)
- Manage the digital brand visibility & consistency through the trade partner own ecommerce platform
- Manage the Customer relationship from A to Z, hence work with other departments: customer service, sales, marketing, finance to make sure we have a smooth and flawless customer experience and service
- Interact with other Edrington Commercial team members and feedback on trend and commercial opportunities for the wider business in their channel
- Rum and/or Spirits experience, seen as an ‘expert’
- A self-starter with planning, organisational, budget and event management skills
- Possess a competent working knowledge of brand and trade marketing, whilst having the ability to build knowledge of their customer’s strategy, structure, KPI’s and potential growth opportunity
- A strong communicator and influencer able to communicate with consumers and customers
- Relevant/demonstratable trade/field sales experience in the dedicated channel(s)
- Track record of delivering breakthrough trade/consumer activations
- Channel specific experience in on -trade and preferably in premium/ultra-premium category
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or related system along with Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage
