We're looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to be based hybrid between home and one of our offices in Sheffield, Cleckheaton or Darwen.

What will you be doing?
You'd be working with our driven and friendly Construction team and be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end commercial aspects of the assigned projects to maximise gross margin
- Weekly / monthly Earned Value reporting, cost monitoring, profit/loss reporting
- Monthly WIP reconciliations and updated Cost to Complete reporting and submit to Finance in line with Group month end deadlines.
- Cash flow, maximising value and minimising future liabilities. Influencing and advising operational staff on the commercial implications of operational decisions in order to achieve the project objectives
- Provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/ work stream performance data

Skills we require
To be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 2 years commercial management experience, previous experience of working in construction or utility sector is preferable. You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of general quantity surveying skills as well as the ability to adapt to work of a specialist nature within the team.
