We are currently looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to join a leading Wholesale company based in Barnsley.
You will be providing key management information reports produced according to regular cycles, to monitor and understand the business performance, and enable accurate and timely business decision making.
Reporting into the Commercial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to analyse data from every aspect of the business; Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, using data that can be extracted from the management information systems.
Innovative thinking is promoted, and you will be given opportunities to work with the Commercial Analyst to present ideas to the company directors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
● Timely and accurate commercial reporting to the business, transforming data into meaningful information to support business decisions
● Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports according to priorities and schedules agreed with the business
● Demonstrate detailed knowledge of reports and data sources with the ability to amend according to the needs of the business
● Provide support services to internal and external customers covering ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and data validation
Skills & Experience:
● Advanced skills in Excel - ability to analyse, manipulate reports and present results
● Excellent problem-solving skills, be a logical thinker and have an analytical mind with high attention to detail
● Strong organisation skills, able to operate in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
● Able to confidently communicate - liaison with internal and external customers is a key part of the role
● Ability to work under pressure with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
