About this role
Everything you might need to know about a business is covered by Commercial Management, and the good thing about this is that it gives you an insight into different areas of a business and lets you be in the driving seat of your career.
In this programme you could be working with pretty much anyone we have a contract with, from customers (be they businesses, or customers like you and me), to suppliers and partners. We’ll help you develop the skills you need to build relationships, influence, and negotiate, making sure we’re getting the best value possible from our agreements. But once those agreements are in place, we also need people to execute them. So, you might spend some time doing just that, bringing in elements of project management and service delivery as well. And on top of all that, you could even end up looking at aspects such as risk and change management.
Of course, you’ll need a little help from across the company. You’ll get exposure to lots of different areas of business and gain a deep insight into how we do things (and even suggest how we should make them better!), building up some real commercial skills.
A big part of this role is also looking after our reputation and we put a lot of focus on making sure we’re acting in a responsible way. We’ll give you the training and insight you need to ensure we’re always acting ethically and doing the best thing for our customers. You’ll become a well-rounded, commercially savvy professional whose skills will be in high demand in any role.
Our Commercial Management programme is available in the Enterprise and Consumer parts of our business. On the programme you’ll be part of 3 rotations, spending 8 months in each rotation.
