Job Description:
Programme Overview
Join our two-year Commercial Graduate Programme to enhance your knowledge and skills and gain real world experience working alongside industry leading traders and analysts. This is a unique opportunity to join a bespoke programme; rotating across commercial teams including Trading Desks, Analytics, Origination, Quant, Pricing, Data and Risk.
Each rotation will provide you with an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how EDF Trading operates, enabling you to build a solid foundation in the energy commodity markets.

Learning & Development
Alongside practical on-the-job training, we will provide a comprehensive learning and development plan to support your progress over the two-year programme.
Our structured curriculum will improve your personal and technical skills. Additionally, you will be assigned a business buddy and a senior mentor to offer support and guidance throughout the programme.
You will have regular opportunities to interact with our senior commercial leaders and to demonstrate your progress throughout the programme; ensuring that you gain valuable feedback and development points.
Your next step on the ladder
Upon successful completion of the programme it is expected that you will be offered a permanent position in one of the departments you undertook a rotation in.
You will be expected to put into practice the skills learned and developed on the programme in order to make a positive contribution to EDF Trading.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for bright graduates who are motivated to succeed in a fast-paced trading environment. You will be commercially astute, determined, have strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in learning about energy commodities and the financial markets.

Requirements:
Minimum 2:1 in an analytical/numerical subject (e.g. Maths, Engineering, Science, Finance, Computer Science)
Ideally you will have 6 months' work experience or internship experience in a relevant industry
Knowledge of programming languages
A resilient, hardworking and proactive attitude
The right to work in the UK
