We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Graduate to our team based in either Manchester, Glasgow, London, Aberdeen.
Key Objective:
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in contract administration in accordance with WorleyParsons commercial policies and procedures.
- Input to accurate project invoicing in accordance with terms and conditions of contract such that the project cash position is maximised.
- Assistance with monthly financial cost/value reporting and end life forecasting on project in accordance with WorleyParsons policies and procedures such that the appropriate values are reflected in the management accounts.
- Support with submission of variation and contract amendment requests and claims in accordance with contract requirements.
- Assistance with placement and administration of sub-contracts in in a manner which optimises WorleyParsons commercial position.
- Assistance with the preparation of client cost reports, the administration of KPI schemes and the preparation of revised contract rates and prices in accordance with the terms of the contract.
- Support with the application of risk review methods and management techniques.
- Assistance with the evaluation of claims and counter claims.
- Support with final accounts and close out of contracts in accordance with contract requirements, helping to ensure lessons learned are fed back to tendering teams.
- Provision of assistance with necessary research to enable commercial and contractual advice to be given to project and functional teams.
Required qualifications / certification:
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Commercial or Business Studies, Business Management, or other appropriate discipline.
- Specific competencies to be in accordance with WorleyParsons commercial management competence scheme.
Experience and personal qualities, aptitudes and skills
- Relevant previous work, summer placement or year in industry experience is desirable
