What you'll do
We're recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Consumer Fixed-Line team at Vodafone UK. The Consumer Fixed-Line team manages revenue of approximately £300m per annum and supports a customer base of 1.2m.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager to deliver month-end reporting and analysis (particularly on Direct Costs) and FTTP performance reporting, as well as provide clear and insightful underlying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
Providing commercial finance insight and be the main point of contact for all data requests from the Consumer Fixed team, ensuring that the data inputted is accurate and a fair reflection of the Fixed P&L.- Creating monthly performance reports on our FTTP business, which provide useful and insightful updates on products which underpin the Consumer Fixed Long-range Planning (LRP).
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager with the monthly preparation and budgetary preparation of our monthly unit economics that drive decision making across the Fixed business.
- Providing detailed analysis across our Direct Costs worth approximately £240m per annum, providing detailed analysis of each direct cost P&L line, understanding the definition, source, drivers, and accounting treatment.
Who you are
Demonstrable financial planning and analysis experience.- Ideally qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent), with an understanding of commercial analysis.
- High attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
- Confident communicating with Senior Stakeholders
