Signature Facilities, a Kleen-Tech company, is currently hiring for a Commercial Construction Operations Manager for the Fremont area!
The Commercial Construction Operations Manager is responsible for oversight and leadership of assigned sites and may require extensive travel to the regional worksites (more than 50% of the time).
Compensation: $105,000 a year + commission
Company vehicle and gas card provided
The Commercial Construction Operations Manager will:
- Oversee sub-contract bidding for projects.
- Organize and create proposals for projects.
- Work with project manager for bid opportunities and creation of proposals.
- Plan, assign, and direct work; appraising performance, coaching, developing and mentoring staff.
- Manage budgets, as well as supply and equipment inventory.
- Represent the company to customers and address any customer concerns.
- Develop construction and small project bids for facilities services division.
- Oversee, supervise, and train facilities field staff.
- Schedule the field operations of the facilities division.
- Work with and assist the Company’s personnel in hiring and training of facilities staff.
- Maintaining record keeping documentation and support the billing of facilities projects, as well as support timekeeping, payroll, and billing functions of other managers.
- Identify and manage subcontractors required for completion of all facilities and construction related projects.
Requirements:
- College degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR (motor vehicle record)
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- High level of organization and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Experience in supervising and verifiable success in managing employees.
- Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Must have administrative and computer skills – knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Must have knowledge of time recording systems and software.
