Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.

The role:
Provide leadership, direction and support to a team of staff in Advice & Guidance, Customer Service, Retail and Contact Centre, coordinating activity to ensure high quality provision for learners and employers.

- Salary £39,508 - £44,274 per annum
- Jubilee Court, Swansea (SA5 4HB)
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating curriculum that is employer focused and in demand ensuring high levels of quality, excellent customer service and innovation to support growth within the sectors.
- Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Trainers, Tutor Assessors and IV’s holding regular curriculum/subject area meetings.
- Achieve Work Based Learning (Wales & England), Skills for Industry 2 and commercial targets as agreed with the Line manager.
- Deliver on and hold a caseload of learners in line with curriculum clusters.
- Assist in the recruitment, induction and supervision of new staff.
About you:
- Teaching and learning qualification e.g. PGCE or willing to work towards
- Commercial knowledge, experience and understanding of industry, including training needs
- Knowledge of working with labour market intelligence to identify and drive new business opportunities
