The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a College Education and Student Experience Senior Manager to support academic schools/departments in reviewing and strengthening their activities and processes, as all parts of the University work to deliver on meeting the ambitions and targets in its Strategic Plan.
Working initially with the School of Health and Social Care for a period of time, and then moving to other specific schools, under the direction of the Director of Operations (line manager), and with strategic input from the Head of School, Head of College, the academic College Directors, and central University leadership, the role would provide professional services leadership within the School with a clear focus on positive transformative change and promoting administrative coherency across all areas of professional service processes and systems with the School, and how they integrate with the wider University and external stakeholders. This will include, but will not be limited to, working with the Head of School to ensure necessary cultural and operational change in light of the University and College strategic plan, a proactive approach to continuous improvement and compliance with University and (where relevant) PSRB requirements, strengthening administrative clarity, the sharing of best practice and support for key academic-related, research-support and financial control processes, and promoting the overall student experience.
The post will, in the first instance, be working with the School of Health and Social Care for a period of no less than 24 months. The School of Health and Social Care has an established regional, national and international reputation for its teaching, research and broad educational opportunities.
