There is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic archivist to join the team at Bath Record Office, an Accredited service with Designated Collections.


You will play a key role in developing the service by leading on collections management, with a specific focus on digital records and engagement, and to support our public search room and enquiries service. The post will play a major part in developing collections care and accessibility strategies as well as supporting our volunteer programme.


The post holder will have a recognised qualification in Archive management, should be able to demonstrate high level IT skills, be able to catalogue archival records using the CALM database, and have a good grasp of digital preservation processes.


We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a can-do attitude and also has the ability to engage with a wide and diverse range of people and communities. Experience within a local government archive will be of benefit.
