Collections Driver - Sheffield

Role:
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Collections Driver to join our Sheffield Team. The role involves collecting and delivering brown goods appliances from Engineer sites and delivering back to our Washington Refurb Centre.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle. Cross checking items with the warehouse and against a manifest, as well as the use of PDA systems.
You will be responsible for providing a reliable, professional and efficient service with excellent customer service and ensure that goods are delivered safely and within set timescales.
You must be organised in your approach and able to schedule work and meet deadlines.
You will be responsible for maintaining the company vehicle, reporting any faults to your line manager.
You must hold a current full driving licence and delivery driver experience is desirable.

Ability to work on your own initiative with good time management skills
Creative thinking to find solutions to issues, outside the mainstream
Excellent communication skills, need to be a good listener / good with customers
A calm and relaxed persona to handle a busy and pressurized role
Ability to multi task and handle several projects at one time
A degree of flexibility in working hours and days as and when required
Drivers Licence [held for at least one year – maximum 6 points]

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday [Flexible]
