At BT our Credit Risk and Fraud Team are responsible for managing credit risk across all CFU’s. Credit Risk is made up of teams that specialise in different elements of the customer lifecycle and this role is principally concerned with delivery and assurance of Collections & Recoveries strategy & Policy for Consumer across BT & EE.
- Ensure Collections & Recoveries strategy and Policy is implemented successfully in order to optimise risk in line with business goals.
- Ensure simple, highly effective strategies are put in place which can be delivered by operations.
- Operationalise Policies that manage risk and can be consistently delivered by Collections Operations.
- Customer journey is considered in all risk lead interactions
- Ensure appropriate checks and balances in place to ensure policy adherence
- Responsible for externally hosted Collections & Recoveries systems and for ensuring system stability to support Collections Operations- 400 fte
- Have experience of working in Credit Risk within a high volume consumer environment
- Be Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance.
- Have strong skills in building effective processes for Operational teams to utilise in delivering Collections Policy.
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Be comfortable challenging and working to strict deadlines
- Be organised and able to multi-task Use your initiative and be comfortable working with changing requirements
- Be commercially aware
- Hold and Industry recognised Credit Control Accreditation e.g. Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
