Job description
Duties:
- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Collect fares and provide accurate change when necessary
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with passengers, co-workers, and tour operators
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including buses
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and team members
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to schedules
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
