Safran Helicopter Engines are the world's leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines and the only one dedicated exclusively to this market. Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join our local team.
The purpose of the CNC Turner role is to set and operate CNC and Manual Turning machines and equipment. Your role will be to produce parts to the required drawing and specification in line with SHE UK standards, processes and accreditations. You will be expected to work within the company procedures to deliver an on time, cost efficient, high quality product, by using standardised processes, programs, established tooling and fixtures, set and operate CNC Turning machines (specifically HI-CELL 23 & SUPER HICELL 250 5 axis work centre using Fanuc controls).

Job requirements
We are looking for someone who will ensure that our products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities by manufacturing parts to drawings, documentation, routings and required standards as defined using a variety of production/inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle
The successful candidate will:
. Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
. Demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours. Ensure documentation / routings are completed accurately and processed correctly in a timely manner.
. Play an active part within the team and contribute to the business objectives and continuous improvement philosophies and opportunities.
. Adhere to SQCDPI quality requirements and improvements.

Specificity of the job
Travel may be required for training purposes and to support the role at specific times. This will required at a minimum rather than on a regular basis.
