- £25,000 per annum
- Upon completion of training - £28,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 16.00
- Some flexibility with start/finish times is possible
- Overtime paid x1.33 Monday - Friday, x1.5 at weekends for first 8 hours, x2 for weekends after 8 hours worked
- Repairing tooling systems
- To ensure tools are created to set procedures and tolerances
- Traveling to customer sites to investigate and repair issues with tooling systems, or collect unused tooling
- Working with customers to resolve issues
- Maintaining supplier relations.
- To assist with the development of high-quality tooling systems.
- Working with the wider teams in the manufacture and improvement of tooling systems.
- Testing and improving punch tool designs.
- Studying work orders, bills of material, current drawings, to help make controlled alterations to tooling development.
- To ensure all relevant checks and paperwork are completed.
- Monitor and measure quality issues reducing sub-standard product.
- Full UK manual driving license
- Existing engineering knowledge in any relevant sector
- Comfortable in a customer facing role
- You will be required to travel to sites as part of this role - Overnight stays occasionally needed
- Please be aware that when site visits are needed, 04.00 / 05.00am starts could be needed meaning possible 10/12hr days
