Job Description CNC Programmer to Opportunity Monday to Friday £16 - £18 per hour We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality precision turned parts and machined components. Key Responsibilities: - Set up, operate and programme CNC lathes to produce complex parts according to engineering drawings and specifications - Perform machine setups, including tooling selection, workpiece loading and fixture set up - Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean organised working area Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Setter operator and programmer (desirably experience with Fanuc) - Proficient in setting up, operating and programming CNC lathes - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications - Skilled in using precision measuring instruments to inspect parts - Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds/speeds optimization - Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong attention to detail and quality orientation The working hours for the successful candidate are Monday to Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm Pay rates for the successful CNC Programmer are between £16.00 - £18.00 dependant on experience.
