CNC Miller
Location: Lichfield/Tamworth
Job Type: Permanent
EMBS Engineering are working in partnership with a long standing, leading precision engineering business based near Tamworth who specialise in the design and manufacturing of ultra high quality, complex components. Due to substantial growth over the last few years, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to help expand the machining division and work on small to medium sized sub assembly parts.
You will be tasked with setting and operating state of the art multi axis CNC machinery and testing yourself on challenging, intricate parts and materials. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and self inspecting your own parts using manual measuring equipment.
What experience do you need?
- Strong precision engineering background
- Ability to set and operate CNC Machines (Milling)
- Confidence working on multi axis machines
- Experience working with Fanuc and /or Heidenhain control panels
- Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
- Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless and Mild Steel
- Experience with machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to medium-sized components
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
