CNC Turner

Our client, a well established family owned business is looking to recruit a well versed CNC Turner to join their team.
The company manufacture high standard products for a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Marine and Chemical.
Ideal candidates will be able to Program, Set and Operate CNC machines to produce accurate components some from castings and exotic alloys working to drawings and specifications.
You will be required to set the machine and carry out tool changes so experience in this is a necessity. You will self-inspect components and report any manufacturing errors to the line manager for corrective action. Experience of programming with Fanuc control systems is essential.
You will ideally be apprentice trained and have a good appreciation of manufacturing protocols including OEE and 5S
This is a permanent role where you will work a standard 39 hour week. Overtime is sometimes available ( Paid at time and a half ) but cant be guaranteed.
Ideal working hours are 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 12pm on a Friday. There is some flexibility in this, you could start at 6 and finish earlier or start at 8 and finish later.
In return you can expect an hourly rate of £15.80 per hour ( £32k ) rising to £16.53 per hour after completion of a 6 month probation review ( £33500 ).
