Ensinger Machine Parts Limited is part of the Ensinger UK Machining Division. We are market leaders in the manufacture of precision machined plastic components. We are a key supplier into some of the UK’s leading medical, life science, aerospace, Formula 1 and technology companies. The company is part of an international organisation and a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of engineering thermoplastics.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, proactive, conscientious and flexible with a high level of quality control.
Full training would be given to the successful candidate, which will include details around product specifications.
Working in a fast paced environment, the ideal candidate must have a background in either CNC Milling or CNC Turning. The ability to work from Engineering drawings is desired, as is knowledge and experience of programming on CNC Machines preferably Mazatrol control systems.
Hours of Work:
Two shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2.30pm, Friday 6am - 12pm.
Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 11pm, Friday 12pm - 6pm
alternating weeks.
15% Shift allowance paid
Purpose of the role:
To set and run machines in which you are trained to do so, ensuring maximum production is achieved to quality standards, while also inspecting parts produced, notifying of any areas of concern. Adjust set ups/alter programmers sharpen tools as and when required, ensuring that maximum production is achieved.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- To communicate with Team Leaders or Supervisors of any issues relating to production, informing of parts not being to tolerance.
- Support the operators in machine set ups.
- Work in the most effective ways, making machine adjustments, as and when required.
- Work in accordance of the quality system.
- Ensure on the job self-inspection.
- To comply with all reasonable requests made by the Production Supervisor and Production Manager.
- To assist in the training of apprentices.
- Ensure all aspects of safety standards are kept at all times within the production department to comply with health and safety procedures and regulations that are laid down in the Group Health and Safety policy.
- Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping at all times.

Experience:
- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
