Working Relationships
- Takes direction from Executive Vice President & C.O.O. and keeps them informed of workload.
- Consults with President & C.E.O. and Executive Leadership Team Division/Service Directors, Development Director and Human Resources regarding program development and community relations and recommendations for marketing these activities.
- Collaborates with Helio Health Board of Directors & Helio Foundation Board of Directors.
- Supervises Marketing Staff and/or students/interns/volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relations with community groups, third party payers, private practice physicians and community mental health and substance use disorder providers.
- Participate in annual Strategic Planning and Decision making. Develop the annual marketing plan in line with Helio Health mission, vision, and goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team in influencing, engaging and building relationships with key stakeholders across a myriad of platforms in order to shape and frame the public perception of Helio Health.
- Create written materials regarding Helio Health services and developments for distribution throughout community and referral sources.
- Conducts and provides oversight of Marketing Staff.
- Coordinate updates to program fundraising with Executive Vice President & C.O.O and Development Director for website development and fundraising activities.
- Responsible for coordinating the work of vendors related to Marketing.
- Responsible for providing oversight of the day to day maintenance and operation of the agency website.
- Attend community events related to agency mission.
- Increase organizational awareness throughout the community and other regions of New York and Pennsylvania.
- Attend Foundation Board meetings.
- Responsible for direct communications and oversight of Marketing Staff to communicate with referral sources and media as needed.
- Provides oversight to maintain active roster of referral sources.
- Conduct in-service education to communities we serve, employees, interns and/or volunteers about what each program at Helio Health offers specifically and/or provides supervision of Marketing Staff in this task.
- Track and maintain referral reports and metrics.
- Responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and tracking/obtaining data and metrics\Design, plan and execute marketing campaigns
- Responsible for direct communication with all media
- Responsible for marketing spend plan as it relates to agency budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered for the educational requirements.
- Five years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Marketing or related jobs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management.
- Deep understanding of changing market dynamics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to plan, develop and execute tours, events and fundraising activates.
- Ability to research topics and prepare reports.
- Knowledge of community and surrounding community’s agencies and resources.
- Strong capacity to develop relationships with community organizations and individuals.
- Ability to effectively use computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Power Point, WordPress, Adobe InDesign.
- Develop and maintain media relations.
- Issue press releases and articles for publication in media outlets.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
