Job Title: Cluster Team Manager
Location: Colchester
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (to include 1 shift per week worked across all services in cluster)

As a Cluster Team Manager at Aspirations Care you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to those we support, and you will help the Registered Area Manager to coach, support and manage staff teams effectively.
You will work 4 days off shift and work 1 day on shift. You will also be on call (Tier 2) on a rota basis.
We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Aspirations Care to help ensure we have the best staff teams offering great support services.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Registered Area Manager by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service.
Overall Purpose:
To work as part of, and lead your Team of Cluster Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers in line with the Company’s aims and values, to provide practical assistance and
support to the People We Support to enable them to fulfil their maximum potential valued lives and to live as independently as possible in the communities where they live.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Workers.

Alongside the Registered Area Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service
delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. -
As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support, and their colleagues come to no harm
and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.
As Cluster Team Manager you will:
Have experience in supporting adults with complex learning disabilities- Have experience with Autism and Positive Behaviour Plans
- Have good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be successful in this role
- You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or an acceptable equivalent), OR, have the ability to achieve this within 18 months of
Leadership of Services Delivery:
- You will support to deliver services that provide the best life possible for people with learning disabilities with your support team:

Provide lead practitioner expertise and lead the support worker team on a day to day basis for the designated services (s) or activity and be responsible for ensuring that
high standards of care and support are maintained at all times and that the designated services continuously improve and develop. Overall accountability for this sits with the
Registered Area manager or Regional Operations Director. - Deliver and demonstrate best outcomes to all people supported by Aspirations Care and ensure that the people we support are involved in shaping these using the principles of co- production
- Working with your team to ensure that the people we are supporting have accurate detailed and person-centered support plans, one-page profiles and person-centered reviews.
- On behalf of the Registered Area Manager lead on ensuring a flexible and person centered Rota is in place at all times for the service that is designed and developed to meet the needs and wishes of the people we support and ensure that the support team have adequate notice of their roster pattern.
- Under the direction of the Registered Area manager, co-ordinate all matters relating to medication, ensuring all procedures are rigorously followed and all support staff are appropriately trained.
- Conduct supervisions and performance appraisals with your team as designated by the Registered Area Manager, in line with organisational policy, complete individual learning and development plans which address training needs and support continued professional development in conjunction with the Learning and Development team.
- Support the Registered Area Manager to create a reflective culture of open communication and feedback within your team, facilitating constructive team meetings, ensuring the team adhere to team decisions and are focused on outcomes for the people we support and that there is a record of such meetings.
- Support the Registered Area manager to increase and sustain the level of employee engagement and encourage your team to take accountability and make decisions on routine matters.
- Support the Registered Area Manager to ensure that the necessary risk assessments for the people we support and your team are in place at all times, and implemented to a high standard.
- Work in partnership with social workers, families, advocates and other providers to ensure that the support is provided in a collaborative way with the person we support at the centre.
