Job description
We are digital builders born in the cloud and currently, we are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer.
The position will be located anywhere reasonably within the European timezone, where Nordcloud has a local presence: Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Your daily work:
- Participating in various customer projects
- Making sure that cloud infrastructure is secure, proper controls are in place
- Participating in developing our models of how we make our customers' environments secure
- Becoming a trusted security advisor for high-profile enterprise businesses and jointly managing the customer relationship and roadmap with the Nordcloud Sales team
- Having a selection of different ‘hats' to put on and have the luxury of following customer projects from start to release
Your skills and attributes of success:
- Knowledge and experience in cloud security
- Experience and expertise in configuring cloud security solutions and platform-level mitigations
- Certifications for Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure. Other relevant security certifications are considered a plus
- Enthusiasm in developing yourself and enjoying new challenges
- Working experience in cyber security or cloud security
- Understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance-topics, Identity & Access Management, Network Security and/or Microsoft Security tooling is considered a plus
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
