Job description

We currently have multiple roles of Cloud Engineer with different clients of ours. Most of them are hybrid but some are on-site/remote as well, so feel free to apply for the post. We will be screening CVs accordingly to the role.

The role

We’re in the process of forming a team to create and deliver our cloud offerings. The team will work to an outcome driven approach methodology to identify and deliver value to our partners, subscribers and vendors. You'll be involved in all aspects of the solutioning and delivery and your past experiences and knowledge will be put to good use in helping us ensure we're taking the best possible approach and are continuing to deliver enterprise quality solutions.

About you

  • You appreciate and value good communication and collaboration. Our solutions, platform and products are too complex for any one person to truly know. We strive to build high performing teams who can solve challenges together
  • You will have experience in cloud solutions, deployment and servicing in a capacity that had you involved with the inner workings of cloud solutions.
  • You put a high value on security, stability and performance and are interested in ensuring these are monitored and our solutions are optimised.
  • You will understand how cloud solutions can evolve and help ensure that infrastructure needs are met, both now and into the future.
  • You will be have participated in researching new and alternative technologies, evaluating ideas, concepts and designs, aligning technology to strategy, and communicating with the team.
  • You will be skilled with commonly encountered AWS services, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • You engage and self-motivate when presented with a challenge, but also enjoy discussing problems and solutions with your colleagues.
  • You are an effective problem-solver and skilled at working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation
  • You are a good communicator and enjoy both sharing your knowledge and learning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Cloud computing: 3 years (required)
