- Utilizing your excellent working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server to maintain and optimize database performance.
- Demonstrating your expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop to provide efficient solutions for virtual desktop environments.
- Building templates and deploying resources using the latest cloud technologies to streamline our operations.
- Setting up robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms, along with creating Azure dashboards for proactive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.
- Implementing automation solutions for the startup and shutdown of cloud services, maximizing resource utilization.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud environment, including patching and deploying necessary supporting tooling.
- Monitoring service consumption and reporting associated costs, optimizing resource allocation through rightsizing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on cloud transformation projects and cloud migrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Familiarity with building templates and deploying resources in a cloud environment.
- Solid understanding of cloud monitoring, alerting, and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in automating cloud services startup and shutdown.
- Knowledge of security best practices and patching in the cloud context.
- Ability to analyze cloud costs and optimize resource allocation.
- Previous experience in cloud transformation projects or cloud migrations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.
