Job description

Who We Are
Kyndryl is a market leader that thinks and acts like a start-up. We design, build, manage, and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers, and our communities.

The Role
Our Cloud Architects help customers use cloud to accelerate and scale the delivery of digital. They support the transformation of organisations from an on-premises company to a cloud-native, cloud-centric business. They are at the edge of technology and experienced in cloud advice, platform engineering, next-gen hybrid-cloud, cloud migration, modern operations and cloud service adoption. They are cloud native using DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Agile Delivery to automate, optimise and provision cloud solutions and platforms.

Your role will be to work with our customers, in this exciting environment, to architect and deliver cloud native solutions ranging from complex transformation to high-value agile delivery. You will use a combination of your architectural skills and experience to lead our cross functional squads to deliver amazing solutions for our customers. This is an amazing opportunity to learn and help Kyndryl transform from an infrastructure provider to a leading software driven global system integrator. You can help us shape our 90000 people start up. If this sounds like you, then apply to Kyndryl today.

What’s in it for you?
This is a cloud architect role that provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse mix of large and complex client projects. With our global partner alliances, you will have opportunities to work on projects that involve a whole range of technologies from Azure to AWS and GCP, as well as Private Clouds including AWS Outposts and Azure Stack. You will have the opportunity to work with Kyndryl customers across multiple industries. With diversity in one of the world’s largest start-ups, comes stability and leadership. From a career perspective, and from Day 1 at Kyndryl, you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and add to your accreditations that we offer via our partner alliances. We will support you through your career journey, with the people and the technology – wherever your career takes you. You will work closely with our customers, our Kyndryl teams, our cloud partners, and our 3rd party service providers. You will join the Kyndryl Architect Profession, working closely with other Kyndryl Architects, Platform Engineers, Project Managers and technical subject matter experts. You will create high and low level designs in conjunction with agile delivery. You will participate in creating the solutions that drive our customers forward. In joining Kyndryl you will work for a company that invests in your future and join a team culture that amplifies learning and development agility. Kyndryl has a flexible working policy offering a number of options from reduced hours, or job share, to home working. These ensure a better balance and improved flexibility both inside and outside of work for you. You can discuss our flexible working options with our managers when you apply. And don’t forget to ask about our Summertime Flexible Fridays! Plus, we offer a Flexible Reward benefits scheme, where you can personalize your benefit rewards. Our excellent employee benefits range from medical and dental, to employer contribution pension, buying vacation days, cycle to work, childcare vouchers and 1000’s of online or high street discounts. Kyndryl is also unique amongst other technology services companies in the UK, in that it offers Carbon Literacy training to employees as part of its wider commitment to ESG, helping educate employees and empowering them to take action to reduce their carbon footprint both personally and professionally.
