Job description
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust are proud to advertise a position within the Nurse Endoscopy team for a Trainee Clinical Endoscopist. The successful applicant will join an established team of Clinical Endoscopists led by a Consultant Nurse Endoscopist. Ideally the successful applicant will train in colonoscopy and undertake the accelerated Clinical Endoscopist training program through the North East and Yorkshire Endoscopy Training Academy.
The JAG accredited endoscopy service at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals Trust operates out of three sites, Pinderfields Hospital, Dewsbury Hospital and Pontefract Infirmary. The successful applicant will have a clinical supervisor and mentor and be empowered to train in a supportive environment in line with the Pan Yorkshire Training Academy vision.
Applications are welcomed from individuals who have had substantial endoscopy experience, ideally with some management/leadership experience however support will be given to develop/enhance these skills whilst training.
