Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CSW to join the Queen Centre Acute Assessment unit caring for acutely unwell oncology and haematology patients.
The Assessment unit is a newly built accommodation, the successful candidate will work along side a team of Clinicians delivery high standards of compassionate patient care.
The post holder is responsible for supporting the registered nurse or other professional in the delivery of direct patient care procedures. They will work within defined parameters to undertake clinical care, technical and clerical duties, informing their supervisor of duties undertaken, and the outcome of these. The post holder is required to continue to
demonstrate proficiently whilst in post.
Duties will include cannulation, taking blood and recording patients vital signs. The candidate needs to understand and work accordingly within the trusts vision and values.
