Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals
Full Time Hampstead, England 49036 - 55049 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Main duties of the job

Our team supports people living with kidney and urological disease across three wards based at the Royal Free Hospital site and four satellite dialysis and low clearance centres across North London. The Royal Free is the provider in NCL for urological care as well as being the NCL tertiary centre for chronic disease management, including transplantation. This exciting post is based in a variety of renal services, including peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis and low clearance and therefore may be based at Royal Free, Barnet, Edgware, Tottenham and St Pancras.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional understanding of the complexity of a person living with CKD. Outcomes for people living with CKD are poorer than for some cancers, and malnutrition, and physical and cognitive frailty is highly prevalent. Proven experience in autonomous management of people with complex nutritional diagnoses is essential. Experience supporting the development of junior staff will be highly regarded, as well as skills in quality improvement, service evaluation or audit.

We would also welcome applicants who are at a senior B6 level and would like to undertake this position as a B6-B7 development trainee post.
We also consider this role to be critical to our team leadership structure and we are interested in someone who demonstrates a warm and empathetic leadership style.
